Hi all,
I've looked at past discussions on the subject of shoulder braces for the DVX. I've looked at footage, product description and testimonials. Considering :
(1) that I want my shoulder brace to have two handles for more precise control, and
(2) that I will be using my Chrosziel mattebox (and possibly some kind of focus control device), therefore, the whole setup will be sort of heavy,
it seems to me that the choice is between the bulky, sophisticated and quite expensive DVRigPro at 650 bucks, and the much lighter and simpler Spiderbrace that costs ten times less...
Knowing, on the other hand, that I also own a steadicam and a very good tripod, would you still recommend that I get the DVRigPro, or will I be happy with the Spiderbrace ? Or is there an alternate new product I should consider ?
Many thanks in advance for your input.
