depends what you want the festival to do for you but the best fests for docs in general are IDFA-Holland, hot docs - canada, sundance-USA, Sheffield international doc fest-UK, cannes-France, you should check out the book - 'Get Your Documentary Funded and Distributed " loads of info plus its got an international perspective.
