Best Setup For Use With Cineform?

will those new intel dual core chips be more than enough to handle cineform HD avi.'s at 720p and 1080i at BEST FULL PREVIEW? how fast of a chip will i need to watch the transitions/efx/cc happen realtime? just got a p2 card and cineform is great, easy to convert...anyone got tips on how they render for DVD output?

I'm on a Pentium D 820 2.8ghz machine with a gig of RAM and a 160 gig SATA drive here at work. Vegas can preview 720p Cineforms at Best (Full) in real time (24p). However, when applying dissolves and other transitions, it slows down a bit in all of the Full-Res previews. But it handles straight cuts no problem, and playing the transitions in a lower-res preview doesn't look that bad.
