Best settings for DVD output?

I have a 3-4 minute music video that I am hoping to burn onto DVD. I would like the finished DVD to be the best quality possible. I have about 8-10 meg of hard disk space to render to and I also have Sorenson squeeze if I need to compress the file. I could do this all by trial and error but the render times are so long I guess it would take a few days to get it right.

Any suggestions as to what settings to use to get a 3-4 min. video onto a 4.7 gig DVD whilst retaining the best quality possible?

Agreed -- I just use the MainConcept DVD Architect presets, and the results are very good. Make sure you match the frame rate to what your timeline is (i.e., there's a 24p preset, use that if you're editing in a 24p timeline, don't use that one if you edited on a 60i timeline). That's just common sense, of course, but I thought I'd mention it.

Well, he's in England, so . . .

(That's OK; I put that in, too, and then edited it out when I glanced at his data . . . )

Thanks for your help guys. One last question... After choosing MainConcept MPEG-2 I need to choose a template, there is no 25p preset so is it best to use the default setting?
Default settings read... Audio: 224 Kbps, 44,100 Hz, Layer 2 Video: 25.000 fps, 720x576.

I tried rendering a short extract using these settings and noticed that when the rendering started, my project and preview settings changed to 'i' instead of 'p'.

Update: I went to the next settings page and changed to progressive and it's working fine now. Thanks once again!
