Best program for desired effects

Hello,

What is the best affordable program on the market for adding effects such as: muzzle flashes, bullet holes in walls/glass, bullet impact hits and the like?

After Effects and Photoshop will do the trick for what you need. You can always go 3D for impact hits and debris, but that is much trickier. I would stick to AE and PS.

A software is a tool, then it's up to the artist to simulate reality.

You can check out other progs with much less cost.
