Hello
I have to edit a trailer, 2 minutes long, destination is a DVD. mainly red one material at 4K and a couple of 5D clips. I have a 2008 Imac 2.4 ghz intel core duo and 4 GB Ram. What´s the best process to get the best possible quality DVD?
-editing: FCP 7 at proress 444 or CS6 natively. Exporting in Mov or uncompressed?
-encoding: Abode encode or any other encoder. it is worth it to go to cinemacraft on a PC?
-To burn DVD, Encorer should be enought?
sorry for all this questions, I am unexperienced in this process
when working with compressor and dvd sp I get a very washed out image, no colors and contrast. I was exporting the sequence from FC7 with current settings, then I tried exporting uncompressed video and the resulting file is a very dark and high contrast video.
I m triying now CS6 and exporting in mov and uncompresed, I get the high contrast and darl video in both cases when I export, why is this? so I am really lost
