Best portal stabilizing system?

Hey guys, I'll be travelling for a few weeks all across europe and I really wanted to get some professional looking footage. I need a stabilizing system of some sort. I have these choices:

(1) Get a 3d gimbal for a camera (dslr/mirrorless). These are things like movi, besteady, defy etc. They are big and heavy but seems to produce great results.

(2) Get a 3d gimbal for a small device like gopro. Much smaller setup but gopro don't really have the greatest quality. Fisheye and sensor size.

(3) Get a camcorder that has great stabilization. Like the Sony models with Balanced Optical Steady Shot. Small unit, decent quality but not so sure about the stabilization ability.

(4) Get a mechanical system like glidecam, steadicam etc. Probably not going to go with this, because it's massive in size and plus the fact that balancing seems to take forever each time you take it apart.

Really appreciate your help here!!!

What camera will you be using?

I plan to buy the camera brand new for this task. So if Sony's BOSS technology proves to be the best for this job then I'll just buy a camcorder. But if some other equipment fares better than I'll just get that. Fairly flexible with the budget. Just concerned about the level of stabilization, weight and size.
