Best Portable Jib

Those are nice jibs, the one I am looking at is $300, it does allow pan and tilt with camera head. I already own a glidecam camcrane but since most of my projects are small I it doesn't get used much, I am looking for something light to use on weddings and small gigs.

I have two small jibs and had a full blown Kessler with pt20 for years. When I was shooting in the Arctic I picked up a small jib from Glideshot, they custom built it to fit in my petrol lighting case so it was just under 3 feet but set up quickly and allowed some nice moves with the small fluid head on it. Recently I have been using a Konova jib with the slider in it , just bought the extra bar. It sets up fairly fast after a few practice runs and travels in a small case that is well designed. I use same Weyfang fluid head and it gives very nice moves and good reach. But most of all it travels well. Counterbalance is always the issue depending on what you are flying. I can't hang my PMW300 off the Konova or would I want to carry enough weight to do so but my stripped down FS100 and NEX 7 work well with a wide lens. I used a portable camping shower that holds a couple gallons of water for balance on the Glideshot and the Konova comes with a bag attachment for big pop bottles but I use small gym weights. The Glideshot obviously attaches to the tripod with a quick release plate or? But the Konova comes with a swivel head and the front end has a bowl for either another head or the one on the sticks you are using.
Let us know what you go with.
Brian
