Best Place to Buy Adobe Video Collection Pro?

[Can Scanner]

Adobe has it for $1499, Amazon for $1350...
Anywhere cheaper?

Also, does Adobe have a grace period? Say I buy the Video Collection Pro now (with Premiere Pro 1.5), and a month later they release Premiere Pro 2.0, would I be able to upgrade for free?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure about free upgrades. They usually have a period of 30-60 or 90 days that upgrades are free, after that, you pay. You are probably better off waiting till March or so when the new collection is released.

whats goig to be in the new collection?

new AE and pro 2.0?

[soarprod]

AE 7 with a new interface where all windows are moveable but bound to the sides and the rest of the program window - lots of new macromedia flash integration.

PPro 2 and encore are supposed to be combined into a super product. PPro is supposed to have multi-cam support and should support DVCproHD.

Audition 2 is supposed to have real mix capabilities (automation writing/reading) and should have better plugin support/tie-in to the other apps.

I havent heard much else - but should be out in 1st Q 2006.

Ooh, here we go...

$729

I like.

That is of course an academic price. You'll probably have to show some proof of current student or teacher status for that price.

Do we have an confirmed details in regard to Premiere Pro 2's support for Hi-Def footage, particularly for the HVX200?
