Sorry guys, I know this topic had to have been covered 1,000 times already, but I did multiple searches and came up with nothing...
Here's my situation:
I've got a handful of short films from years back still living on my PC (raw footage and all)... and its time to clean up the HDD.
So I want to output an uncompressed file of each short, so I can delete all the raw footage.
Most of the footage was shot with a DVX100, 24p... cut on a 29.97 timeline. What do I set my options for when exporting? I'm worried that I won't use the correct interlacing setting to either remove pulldown or not. I'll be doing the exporting with Premiere Pro 2.0.
I also want to burn a copy directly to dvd (no menus needed... just a simple 'burn to dvd' deal).
One last thing... is there any way to verify that my footage IS 24p within Premiere? It's been so long, I'm not entirely sure every project was shot on 24p vs 24pa.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
ADDED:
Okay, so I figured out how to find the framerate of each clip within premiere... and it has 29.97(24p) listed. I assume that means that the footage is NOT 24pa.
