Funny thing about that . . .

In the BTS stuff, Night says he wanted Hilary Hahn because she gave the music the perspective of a teenage girl.

But throughout the movie, I had the impression the soloist was a man. Not that it was at all bad; it just sounded masculine.

favorite all time score would have to be Peter Gabriel's for The Last Temptation of Christ... (AKA Passion)

I'll list my most recent favourite scores.

The Last Samurai, Hans Zimmer
Gladiator, Hans zimmer
Big Fish, Danny Elfman

And of course there's a lot of scores that had bits of it I really liked. Like Rainman (hans zimmer), and Schindler's list (John Williams).

Good call, very powerful score. It's an amazing synthesis of ethnic, electronic, and other sounds.

I absolutely agree with asa, i think Reservoir Dogs's soundtrack is an integral part of the movie which is amazing itself. and yea steven wright's standup is great.

Great call Vital. I was working through this thread thinking Old Boy, and Requiem. Powerful stuff.

Put together a decent action scene with the intro to Old Boy - wow.

Amelie - perfection
Thin Red Line - sit back and relax
Reality Bites - gen x pop goodness
Run Lola Run - techno groove

Also,
Life is Beautiful
Dances With Wolves
Braveheart
Life is Beautiful
Forrest Gump
Shakespeare in Love
Moulin Rouge
