Best monitor with HDMI?

[Mosin]

I'm in the market for a field monitor, need it mostly for focusing with my sgpro. And all I could find is the new Ikan v800hdmi which isn't even out yet.

Anyone know any other brand out there? otherwise which is the best alternative (non-HDMI)?

Keep in mind HDMI can be adapted to DVI with a simple little adapter, so if you find a monitor with DVI input that's almost as good for purposes of monitoring HDMI.

Can you recommend an adapter or will any old one do?

I got one from Circuit City for $15. I don't think there's anything special about 'em.
