best monitor for NTSC work and HD work?

I'm using FCP7 and will be buying a broadcast monitor. But I have no idea what brand to get. All I know is that I will be editing three documentaries this year; an NTSC 480i project, a 720p, and a 1080p project.

I would therefore need a broadcast monitor that can do at least 1080p. But I have no idea which one to get. I see that a lot of people in the industry are using Sony.

Would very much appreciate some advice. I also plan on getting the IO HD device (for its many connections options, versality, and portability factor (I work in two different locations) for linking my Mac Pro desktop to the monitor.

Thanks very much in advance,

- Nick

every sony broadcast LCD i've seen has been terrible... If you can afford one from Flanders Scientific go with that.

I've got a JVC and it does a very adequate job.
