best monitor for color accuracy?

In the $500 - $1000 range?

I've been using the SmallHD AC7 (***not*** the OLED version). It's a nice monitor, but I haven't been impressed with the color accuracy.

I've been using the SmallHD AC7 (***not*** the OLED version). It's a nice monitor, but I haven't been impressed with the color accuracy.

I used to own the AC7. I thought the color accuracy sucked out of the box too. Then I calibrated it with an Xrite Eyeone pro meter and it looked ALOT better. The biggest difference was when the grayscale of the ac7 was dialed in. Dialing in the color did help the skin tones aswell. but mainly the grayscale was night and day difference. I think I posted them on here. Im currently using the Odyssey 7Q and they just released a new firmware that allowed me to dial in that monitor aswell. Ninja Blade. I have a AC7 as well and the difference is pretty significant.
