Best Monitor/Camera Accessory

I would like to affix - pretty much bolt - a 5" monitor on top of a camera which has a 1/4-20 thread.

I do not want the monitor to move at all in any direction.

I have various options, but just wanted to get some final thoughts to see if I'm missing any little accessories out there that could be particularly useful and/or best for this task.

OK why are you doing it?

Are you after best monitor or ways to mount it?

I think a really underrated way of mounting small monitors is a strong enough giottos ballhead on top of a cage/1/4 20 thread.

This is not cheap, but it's rock solid and allows you to instantly position your monitor in any direction...
