hello.
i have done very little audio with a boom pole but i am going to be doing 2 or 3 shorts over the next 5 or 6 months and we will have a real crew so i can actually have a boom operator...
right now i have the me66, i've gotten wonderful sound from it but i am pretty sure it is way too directional to make a good boom mic.
what is a good boom mic? i assume its something where the pattern is wider rather than a long narrow beam?
