Best Lens Gears

I'm trying to figure out what other people's experiences have been with different brands of lens gears (i.e. Zacuto, Red Rock, Cinevate, etc.). Thanks!

I'm happy with the Redrocks, and the price is right at $150 for 3 of them.

Most Nikon lenses take the "A" size, a few of the bigger ones take a "B".

Do they attach firmly to your lenses? Do they slip at all?

No slip whatsoever - if you order the correct size. Redrock has a guide on their site about this. I also like that they are large diameter - about 1.5" larger in diameter than the lens. This gearing reduction gives you finer control of the focus.

Zacuto looks cool, but like everything else they sell, it's in the ozone layer for pricing.

Or even a C for an 80-200 zoom.
