Hello all,
I want to get the best possible image as I can when I make an SD DVD using HDV material. I use Vegas 5, Cineform Connect HD and a JVC HD100U.
Here's what I do now:
Capture the HDV footage with HD Link. It converts it the HD Avi files.
I set Vegas to the HD 24p template in the properties with pull down removal allowed. I drag in the HD AVI files and edit them, so up to this point they are still at full rez.
Then, I render it out as a DVD Architect NTSC file and burn the DVD.
Am I doing this right? Getting the maximum quality? Spot, I know you'd know the answer to this.
Thanks,
Kelly
