I'm having a tough time deciding on a GPU that will best suit me for After Effects. I'm aware of CUDA cores and picking up an Nvidia card is the way to go. I currently have an MSI 560ti but it's faulty and needs a replacement. I figured I'd spend a little more and get the best "oomph" I can for my dollar. I've read a few bizarre things concerning Nvidia cards and the Mercury engine. Some people report better benchmarks with a higher-end 500 series card than a higher end 600 series card. Does anyone here have any personal experience with this? I just don't know what to buy... And I don't want to spend over $400.
