I'm looking to buy two $2-3k worth portable complete flourescent kits 4-6 flo's, adjustable with stands (like the kino diva series) for a small rental outfit here in South Africa for video shoots, travel, location and studio. Any suggestions for best two kits?

I have no problem buying a Kino-flo kit or two just looking for the best option out of a dozen or more so kits they sell.

Scenario: cameraman walks into a rental house looking for a portable lighting for a 3 day low to medium budget HDSLR commercial shoot, travel, location interiors and a one day studio for product shots and possibly green screen. Suggest the kino-flo kit he would like to rent...

Thanks

Even on a medium budget shoot a decent camera man is going to need at least four Kino 4x4 banks to accomplish what you are asking and this is not extremely portable.

2 4'x4' with daylight and 3200 tubes
1 2'x4' with daylight and 3200 tubes
1 divalight with daylight and 3200 tubes.

Diva is a little punchier and has the ballast built in
You might want a hardlight or two in there.
The coolights CDM 150 is a good, affordable daylight hardlight.

Thanks for the info, can you point me to the BH link for the 4X4, is it a kit or stand alone I need to assemble?
