Best Fisheye for DVX100B

Hi, Im a noob. I just recieved my DVX100B today and was wondering what the best fisheye to get would be. I'm thinking Century but I was wondering what you guys thought. I need to order it asap because the snow is almost here. I don't want one with the black spots in the corner and preferable one for under 600$.

Just to let you know I also did a search and nothing came up. I look foreward to posting here. I will leave you with a recent.

I find it hard to believe that you did a search for a fisheye and nothing came up. This has been discussed extensively. Anyhow, the Century .3x fish is going to get you the best results, and best glass. Century also makes a semi fish that won't give you as profound an effect, but will still get you that distinct barrell distortion. The .3x comes in at around 800, whereas the other is around 500 I believe. Check www.evsonline.com and www.bhphotovideo.com. By the way, welcom to the forum!

I did a search for "best fisheye dvx" I probrably should have just done "fisheye". Sorry about that. Anyways thank you very much for the link. I just ordered.

If you ordered the Century Optics fisheye then your going to get the "black spots" (vignetting) on the edges of the shot. The lense is extremely wide so your going to have some vignetting, but not that much will show up on T. V.

I got the 500$ fisheye. Will I still get some of the black spots? I was really hoping to avoid those because 90% of the work I do (especially with the fisheye) is for snowboarding web videos.

Can you use this Red Eye adaptor on the DVX with a 16x9 adaptor as well?

What about on the Canon XL2 in 16x9 mode?

Dost say anyting about this on the website...

i dont think you can put anything on top of the 16x9 adapter (correct me if I'm wrong) so my guess would be no. On top of a native 16x9 chip though you could use it.
