I use Premiere Pro 1.5, what is the best film-look plugin to achieve a better film feel?

Re: Best film-look plugin?

Personaly love the BigFX plugins..they just immitate the film look pretty extensively with quite a few film stock presets with some extras. On top of that they are custimizable pretty well. I just hope there would be as well developed version for mac :(. Deffinitely worth the investment.

Premiere Pro includes the free MovieLooks plug-in, doesn't it? You can try that and see what you think, especially since it's free...

Magic Bullet is a RENDER HOG. It has good looks, but be prepared to set your project rendering just before you leave for the weekend . . .

Re: Best film-look plugin?

Rendering a 30-second spot in Magic Bullet Movie Looks (from Vegas 5.0) took about 14 minutes. So it's about a 30:1 ratio, I guess... so a 2-hour picture would take about 60 hours to render.

(I wonder if Movie Looks works over network rendering in Vegas? Hmmm... but that's getting way off-topic).

I rendered  some out door Wedding stuff that I shot last weekend and ran it through Magic Bullet and went away for 2 days. Footage looks awsome though.
