Best export to DVD SP2 without Compressor

Compressor is out of order(won't let me submit). I am Exporting 10 min of 24PA footage edited in 29.97 from FCP4HD. I am looking for high quality image, size not an issue. I tried to export using quicktime conversion as an MPEG-2, but it gives me an error that says to render the movie, even though it is already rendered. Any advise on alternate exporting routes?

Export using Quicktime Conversion-DV Stream. Save it to your drive, then open imovie and import it and you could try using idvd from there. (CAUTION) When in imovie turn the volume up to 150 or else it will sound low. I hope this was helpful.

You could also just export with sequence settings and import into DVDSP. Adjust the settings for encoding in DVDSP and if size is not an issue, just pick CBR. You should also encode your audio using A.Pack.
