Best DVD Menu Color/Font?

I'm working on my DVD menu, and noticed that (especially on the scene selection page) the text is quite blurry and hard to read when viewed on a TV. In my scene selection section, I display three scenes per page, and I use a red size 16 font. Is there a better color, font style, format, etc. to use that makes the text appear sharper and less blurry?

Many thanks!

putting graphics on a DVD menu has some of the same rules as putting graphics in lower 3rds or on screen.

Reds bleed. Don't use fonts with small serifs if you can avoid it (like Times New Roman) The thicker the more easily it will be read and not appear jagged. Anything under 3 pixels will be jittery. I try to never go below 16pt or 18pt depending on the font style.

Many thanks! I'll choose a better font. Making my font bold-face may help also. Now I need to choose a decent color!
