Anything wrong with Apple's "Grab"? Saves to TIFF.

Going out on a limb and saying I bet they meant capture audio and video of what is happening on the screen.
I like SnapXpro by Ambrosia. Been around since PowerPC days works good with no noticeable delay. It does not have fancy things like highlighting the buttons you click or zooming live but it can make some really nice .mov's for your timeline.
I assume you are using OSX because if not you would not be hear right? Nobody that is serious about filmmaking and video uses PC's anymore, right? Just kidding. Of the thousands of lame programs that do this for Windoze, Windows Media Encoder is the only one I have ever used.
