Best Converter Available for AVCHD to ProRes for FCPX?

What's the best practice for ingest of files from Panasonic AG-PX270 and AG-PX800 to FCPX? Googling the question brings several apps that will transcode AVCHD to ProRes. What's your experience? Thanks in advance to each responder.

Personally I would recommend just using the "Optimize Media" feature built into FCPx. Transcodes it into ProRes in the background. If you'd prefer to use third party apps personally I have used 5DtoRGB (which you can buy at app store) to great success. Or if you have Adobe CC, Prelude will do what you're looking for.
