Best Computer/ Processor for Canopus Broadcast

Hi Guys !
I am looking at getting a dual core or dual processor system for Edius Broadcast 4. Does anyone have any suggestions ? I would like to spend a max of 5000 Euro... ish.
I'm not sure what edius hardware I need when getting a system. I also need a good monitor for critical colour correction.
Brandon recommended this system in a recent thread, any thoughts ? can it take the Edius hardware too?

If anybody has built a system for less or has a list of components I know somebody who builds computers and may be able to save some money.

Very cool looking box--decent specs too. I might want a couple more expansion slots though.

I'm in a similar situation--old Precision Workstation is still slugging along but I bought Broadcast (after April 1st) and I'd like to have something in place by the time version 4 arrives in the next few weeks (months). I'm really lucky the poor beast has hung on this long . . . with three 10k internal scsi's, 2 G-Raid 500's, one of those older (but faster) external scsi Medea 480 gig boxes, and an LTO-2 drive it has really earned its retirement.

I've owned so many Dells (after years of Compaq) that I should be on the list to Michael Dell's Christmas party (although for reasons I am unable to explain I am not). The service and support is still there but they're losing me on the process required to actually speak with someone who can either fix or advise properly on a service issue ... there are just too many (for me) first line folks to have to repeat your service tag, phone, etc., etc. to before getting down to business.

Despite my minor gripe I will probably go with 'em (over HP) one more time. Yep, another duel xeon box should be just the ticket . . . I'm stuck on what I want to do regarding drives this go-round? I'm looking a SAS over SATA or traditional SCSI but gawd, they're expensive! I think maybe the way to go for me is keeping the G-Raids for road trips (which is basically what they're used for now), go with two or three SAS internal drives, then replace the old Medea with one of those new "G Speed" boxes when they come out: http://www.g-technology.com/ . . . although I suspect the price tag of the G-Speed will not be for the faint of heart.

I'd really appreciate hearing what everyone else who bought (or will be buying Broadcast) is thinking about doing.

BTW, as long as I don't get too crazy with multiple filters, Broadcast has run flawlessly (single layer) on my preset rig.
