Hey,
I hope everyone is doing well. I am trying to burn a NTSC disc from my AVID 5.6 Xpress. I have a feature film 90 minutes that was shot on the HVX200 with Firestore. The project is shot at 1080I 60. I have outputted it as Sorenson Squeeze refrence. In Sorenson, I changed to the CBR to 6300 so it would essentially used up and maximize 4.7 gig DVD disc. I take the file and load it into Ulead DVD MovieFactory. I have outputted several copies that was painless with no computer crashing etc. I have tried this several times, but i have so say it seems that Sorenson creates some bits of artifacts with the compressions. What is the absolute BEST compression software to use. And that would be applicable to Ulead DVD MovieFactory. Or a perfect method of compression by using the export function. I did try exporting the AVID file to a DV/DVCAM quicktime file. But when i loaded it in Ulead DVD MovieFactory it essentially gave up on the file and crashed. I hear several people rave about h264. But how do i take that file and create an NTSC disc?
what do people recommend - been pulling my brains out on this for weeks,
Omar
