Best Color Correction Workflow

Hi,
Can anyone tell me wich color correction effect/workflow should be the best to use on Premiere to achieve something close to technicolor? The image below ilustrates what I'm saying.

I wish I had the money to hire a colorist, and a sound tech, and everyone else. Unfortunately I've got no budget so I'm trying to learn everything I can, but color correction is still a bit of a mistery to me... Also, there is something that is used on Photoshop (can't remember the name) that is basically a group of steps and color effects to achieve a certain effect that someone gathered and formed a single effect, so that when someone wants to try that effect, it's already organized step by step. Does this exists for video as well? If any of you Premiere experts could help out... :)

Thanks
David

i'm not going to ask the reason you want to do that effect(i have already concluded, i don't want to know why).

the footage will have to be shot under specific light, and will need a specific set design and wardrobe.

That effect is similar to the old technicolor films; it was actually taken from Todd Haynes movie "Far From Heaven", wich is a bit of a visual homage to Sirk's movies. I like that color, but what I was asking is a bit more abstract. I wanted to know wich color correction effect(s) you guys use to do most color corrections to your footage (not just correcting it, but also make your footage have a specific look/style).

Thanks

Magic bullet Looks has a technicolor effect that does what you want but it won't be as good as the movie you reference unless you set design and costumes are make help the look.

Best to get a pics from the movie and try to replicate the colors.
