Best (Cheap/efficient) workflow to shoot HD trailer with limited P2 resources...

I tried a search, but the search filters rejected some of my parameters...

I am looking to shoot a trailer for a film we will be doing in January, what is the lowest cost, BUT most efficient workflow to shoot with limited P2 resources? (I have a 16Gb, 8Gb, & 4Gb card)

Are you guys using laptops, external HDD's?

I edit in Premiere CS4, I use Windows 7 and own the Adobe Master Collection (if any of this info helps)

I am in the same boat. I ended buying a PC laptop with a PCMCIA slot. The laptop has a built in 500gb HD so I just offload the cards to the laptop when shooting in the field. I also bought a WD My Book external HD which I then transfer the files from the laptop to the external HD.
