I started a topic in the Docu forum regarding a debate/discussion that we are hopefully shooting with a panel of 6 and an audience of at least 50... http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=200257
I am trying to work out the kit package the moment, with the budget restraints that we have, i have decided to go SD and have opted to rent 2 Sony DSR 450s and 2 Sony Z1's. We will be shooting in DVCAM on both i believe but i am trying to work out which camera would be best suited at each location within the venue.
My thoughts so far are that the DSR's, with the better lenses would be more ideal for the Close up's of the panel and audience yes? and then try to stick with wider shots with the Z1..?
There will be an overhead lighting rig so lighting shouldn't be a problem....
