Best camera for "high speed" in 2015.

Hey guys,

Just a quick question for you all. 2015 is here and we have a lot of new cameras out. I have been wanting a solid all around camera for a while, but have become a sucker for the DR and looks of my BMCC and D16. I desperately want to own a camera that at least does 120FPS but can still give me a good DR. I have search the internet but I thought I would get the best opinions here.

What is the best all around camera with hi speed capabilities sub 8k? I have the GH4 but not too fond of the image quality, thought it does push up to 96.

You didn't specify a budget (EPIC with Dragon sensor, Phantom Flex) (edit: you did, I didn't read it, sorry), or whether you require a big sensor and interchangeable lenses (Gopro Hero 4 black), or even 1080p (Hero 4 silver).

But well, since you're mentioning some cheap-ish cameras and say you care most about DR: if you also require a big sensor and interchangeable lenses, that would be the a7S, which shoots 120p (only at 720p, soft and with aliasing/moire, but with a lot of DR).

I shot this with my a7S, and IIRC it has several 720p shots, maybe even most of them.

Is the FS7 under $8k? I don't think anything else comes close to it frame-rate wise in that price bracket.

If you need continues 120fps and above in HD the FS7 is the only camera in that ballpark (although quality is lower than sub 60p framerates it still looks decent)

If you can deal with burst highspeed the FS700 is a great deal now that the FS7 has knocked it down in price. You can find good used kits with accessories. Even with O7Q and raw option it should come in under your budget.
