Best bet for 1080p 50% slowmotion?

Hi. I need to create a slowmotion sequence that will be broadcast on a PAL tv commercial. My camera is a Sony PMW-200 and can make XDCAM HD422 1080/25p
and also XDCAM 422 720p 50p

Which is my best bet for best image quality and slowmotion quality, to upres the 720/50P material or slow down the 1080/25p material by 50%

I am working in FCPX but have access to Premiere CS6 aswell.

Unless you use something like Twixtor on the 1080/25, you'll almost definitely want to shoot 720/50 and upres. That's if motion smoothness is your priority.

25p slowed 50% will have terrible lag. Do 50p.

Seriously, just shoot some of both and try it for yourself.
