I use opera over firefox just because its opera... Technically speaking in terms of the feautres i use it is virtually the same browser...but opera looks better and you can skin it better. Also, its got email built in from the start, and come on...firefox is the most overused browser ever. Opera for the sake of being unique :D

Firefox is the bomb. Started using it several years ago when I became overly frustrated with IE popups and ran across it. Rarely have to use IE, I believe it is generaly if the page is an asp page or something. Hell right now I have 4 Firefox pages up with about 50 open tabs.

Fasterfox - Increases load on severs, can precatch sites, loads sites faster
Adblock - can block any image, or any group of images using wildcards
Downthemall - Download manager, can open multipul connections with a server to allowed maximum speed
Allpeers - Filesharing

When I first DL'd and Installed FIrefox it prompted me too bring all of the other favs and cookies and etc etc etc over

I declined initially as I was not sure what I was going to do with Mozilla

Can I do that process now ?

I would just uninstall and reinstall.

I've just quit using opera.

No problemo, John. I'm curious about these plug-ins. I've just been using FF on it's own. Might have to try some of these out.

I use Netcaptor which is basically IE but reworked. It was the first browser to have tabs for open windows. I have tried Firefox and dont like it. I was a Netscape guy back in the day, but dont like it anymore. I last tried it about a year ago. Haven't tried anything else.

IE based, I guess Netcaptor is susceptable to all the crap they say IE is susceptable, but I've had no viruses or anything from using IE (Netcaptor). I have ended up with spyware and such form progs like Grokster and other Bit Torrent and Peer to Peer Apps, but not from IE.

People are paranoid. (especially apple people)

I prefer Opera over any other browser. It just kicks IE in the balls. It might not be the most stable browser on earth, and you some times have to tweak it a bit to make it handle .mov and flash, but overall it works great. If it crashes, you're up and going again on the same sites 2 seconds later.

Add opera to the vote.

Yeah, I was hoping to have the blank pages be able to open to s specifc place each time (Google search)

I use FF and have Isara as my homepage. I set up my most used favorites as Favorites on Isara. So now, when I want to open these sites automatically, I just right click on the displayed link on Isara and choose "Open in New Tab"

Super-easy. I can get from my homepage to my local newspaper, DVXuser, fandango, IMDB, Imageshack, etc in a click...

Hudson, don't forget to check out the Mouse Gestures extension. It's totally rad. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/39/

For example, I have mine set up as a right-click-and-drag kind of motion. Right-click and straight up opens a new tab. Right-click and up while passing over a link opens that link in a new tab.

That and much more, including navigation back and forth, closing tabs, duplicating tabs and windows, moving between tabs. By far my "can't live without" extension.

One thing not mentioned is that you can bookmark all open tabs at once. Simple and obvious but very handy at times!
