iHola!
I decided I'd go with bescor to use as a runngun light (although it will be handheld, not camera mounted).
I was looking at B&H and there seems to be unlimited options.
From what I can tell, the best "lights" are the MPL645 and the MPL635 (i kind of like the 635 as it allows 50 and 100 watt bulbs as opposed to just 50 watt, though it has no dimmer). Am I correct in this assumption?
First off:
There are tons of light kits, and most of them vary by the type of Bescor brand batteries that are included.
For example:
SLM-10XLR Lead-Acid Battery
NMH54XLR Battery
NMH54 Battery
PRB12XLR Battery
MM7XLR Battery
SLM10 Battery
MM12XLR Battery
etc.
The list goes on and on and on...
What the hell? Are these all compatible with Bescor lights?
Second:
I'm going to need alot of juice, so I thought instead of buying a kit, I'd just buy the light intself and then buy a battery belt.
It looks like these belts are made up of the types of batteries I just listed.
For example:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=Search&A=details&Q=&sku=111553&is=REG&addedTroughType=search
Does this 4 pouch battery belt come with batteries in the pouches, or is it just some stupid belt that holds batteries, and I have to pay for them my self?
I'm completely lost here and really need some help.
If anyone has any suggestions on what to buy, I'm all ears.
Thanks
