If you haven't seen this movie I humbly suggest that you rent it. It is all around a great unique movie that clearly broke the cliche's of Hollywood. It has no foul language, It is very, very well written, it displays good morals, and has all the great charactersistics of an excellent clean movie. Go rent it and tell me watcha think. I'm very curious as to what you guys think since this is more of the direction I would like head follow in film making. I want to help show the world that movies can be focused on good, and yes even christian morals and be excellent, and most of all make an impact! Enjoy

I keep seeing this in the store and have always wanted to rent it. I'll rent it on my next trip.

Be sure to watch all of the "extras" section. The story behind the movie is almost as good as the movie itself. Trully an indedpendent path that came to life with hard work and patience. Check it out.

I was just about to say that. The movie itself is beautiful and a great movie, but what makes it even better is when you hear the film makers talk about it. A bunch of really genuine people making something worth watching. The type of people I dream of working with haha. Everyone should check it out.

I rented this, but I didn't like it. I didn't like it on its own, but I also was turned off by the whole pro-life Christian moral message-movie thing. Not my bag.

I could go on but I know I would open up a hornet's nest. This ain't the place to talk about this anyway.

You already did ; )

saw it, thought it was great. the lead actor and actress were both great. I also liked the directing style. Spoiler here but I have a question to those who saw it. In the end, before the girl comes back to see her now-grown daughter, where did she go? Did she go out of state? I ask because it seems odd to me that if she still lived there, that this would be the first time she was seeing her child. Particularly because even if there was no child, I'd think she'd want to see Jose again, who she obviously had a connection with. Can someone explain this to me?

I didn't think the "pro-Christian" message was that overwhelming. In other words, if you didn't want to focus on it, I felt the movie worked on its own.

Whether she moved away or not the implication is just that Jose raised her daughter while she spent those 6 years (or however long) to get her life together. I agree that this is pretty unrealistic. Wasn't a big fan of the movie but that was definitely the weakest plot element for me.

I can appreciate the pro-life aspect of this and other recent films (Juno, Knocked Up). It's nice to see a positive spin on unwanted pregnancies for a change -- whatever your view, it's at least another angle being tackled from a story standpoint. But I really didn't enjoy the movie. It was technically competent, especially considering the budget, and the actors gave great performances, but the story just felt lacking to me. Not enough happened, and what little did happen could be seen coming a mile off. Too simple of a story for me I guess.

I enjoyed the film when I watched it- Then after watching the "extras" on the DVD, I loved the film. This is indie filmmaking that works.

I saw it in the theater and wasn't planning on renting it but I may have to now if the extras are that good
