Bella editing keyboard for Premiere Pro?

Is anyone using the Bella video editing keyboard for Premiere? Would like some feedback as far as how user-friendly they are, speeding up productivity, etc.

Are you using CS4 or CS3? And what's your OS? I have Vista64 (which they only have beta drivers for) and when I first used it with CS3, it was great. With CS4, the jog/shuttle wheel doesn't want to seem to work right. I don't know if it's the beta drivers or CS4, though I think it might be a little with both. I think I just need to tweek with the settings a bit.

The coded keys are awfully darn handy though.

I'm running CS3 in Windows XP, so, hopefully, will not run into similar driver issues. Does the keyboard really speed your productivity?

Yes... but how much so, I don't really know. It's not leaps and bound faster though. I do find that being able to just punch a key to set an in or out point or swap between the cut tool and select tool is a lot more convenient than using the mouse... especially with a 22" monitor I have to move the pointer across across. Granted, you can do that without this keyboard, but having the labeled keys is nice. Having the jog/shuttle wheel is really nice, largely because it's easier to move only a frame or two than with a trackball or mouse. In a lot of ways, it's almost a throw back to using an old deck to deck editing setup with a separate edit controller

You can easily get by without this keyboard. It's not going to revolutionize the way you edit. But I like it, and wouldn't want to go back to not using it if I didn't have to.

Thanks, Mike. Always helpful to hear feedback from someone who's already using something before taking the plunge. Sounds like a very useful tool.

I managed to get the jog/shuttle wheel to work... it was a combination of the factory defaults and me not installing it correctly.
