Before I ask my question, I am sure the answer is going to be a "you have to know someone in the business"!
I was just wondering how one could get in with a crew and shoot behind the scenes footage of Music Videos, etc.
Tonight after work, I went down the street where they were filming a Hip Hop Music Video on location for rapper Beanie Seigel. I saw this older guy running around with a little Sony Mini DV camera. I was mad that I didn't have my DVX100 with me but I didnt find out about the Video shoot until an hour b4 I was getting off.
I had a friend from college that worked Bad Boy Entertainment (P-Diddy's company) that did the same thing. He would shoot behind the scenes footage of various Music Videos including one of LL Cool J's videos.
Just wondering how one could get into that line of work.
I notice on DVD's that a separate production company will come in and shoot all behind the scenes footage with their own crew and that is the stuff you end up seeing in the EXTRA stuff on DVD's but I am not quite sure where the behind the scenes footage for Music Videos ends up.
