Behind Taliban lines

I just saw a PBS Frontline with Najibullah Quraishi shooting video while traveling with a Taliban group. It looked pretty good!
Any body have any idea what kind of camera he used?

I have no idea but that episode was amazing.
Glad to see he got out with his head.
That guy definitely has the stones.

Awesome. I've wanted to do that one for a long time, and hoped someone with the resources would. I'll have to look it up somewhere.

No Idea but a guess would be a sony cmos cam from the jello. Prob an ex1? It;s a handheld cam, interviews might be a shoulder mount cam, most productions do use a shoulder mount higher end cam for the interviews and a handheld for run in gun stuff.

There was also one made with a panny hpx170 that looked really good, it did have the film mojo look to it unlike this video. Just a guess though.

Cmos? Didn't notice it. Just an example of content trumping all...people shooting at you tends to focus your attention elsewhere.

I caught about 4-5 minutes of this, really hoping to watch the rest soon, agree on this dude having some stones to get the shots
