"Behind-Da-Scenes"

Thanks to EVS, I'm the new owner of a Kino Flo Diva 200, which I had the pleasure of using tonight. Man, that sucker sure is bright!

Looks like a Chrosziel to me. You can see bracketry for side wings. The french flags looks really big though...

Slim- Here are the rest of the pictures...

The matte box is a Vocas, with an oversized french flag. I hardly ever use the side wings cause I can't see the actual frameline in the viewfinder... sometimes they end up in the shot when they're not supposed to!

Mateo Salsero- The only light I own is the one in the picture. There's not much else to say...

Divas kick azz! Also, they're the ONLY flourescent-style softlight that someone makes a fabric eggcrate for (Lighttools).

Was that a smoke filled room? Was does it look so smoky or have a blur to the shot? Was that the look you were going for?
I wanted the images to convey a sketchy / questionable atmosphere, like an after hours club or something. Here are a couple of screengrabs:

I too love the Divas. I know you're probably white-balancing to the light itself, but I would warn you that if you throw the daylight bulbs in, when you use the on-board dimmer, the green spike that the bulbs have starts to creep into your blacks. I shot a film recently where we had to CC out a tiny bit of green in every shot. I'm truly glad that I had professionals timing it for me.
