Hi guys!! I'm brand new to the video editing game. I'll be creating documentaries, filming with a Panasonic AG-HMC150, and editing with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. What's the best format to choose when exporting videos to upload to a website? I definitely want to take advantage of the HD capabilities of the camera, but I want to be able to allow the most possible viewers to view the videos without a ton of issues. I've been told that H264 would be the wisest choice. I'd really appreciate your feedback on this. Please remember that I'm brand new to this. Thanks guys.

This is a AUDIO forum. Ask on the video side.
That said, I render (from Vegas Pro) to an intermediary Avid DNxHD.. then re-render to H264/MP4 using Handbrake. Both of which are free. A two-step process but the quality is exceptional... providing your source is good.. Upload to YouTube, Vimeo or your favorite server
Thanks to 'Musicvid' and 'Jazzy the Dog' from the SCS Vegas Pro forum. Specific instructions can be found there. I'll look for a direct link to a video tutorial when time allows.

I teach at a school in Illinois that uses that camera and I've edited over 15 videos in premiere pro cs6 since it came out. My client videos lately have been going to the web so I usually go .mp4 and use the Vimeo Widescreen HD preset with some modifications. The quality has looked good both exported and on the web. Like David said, you can look various sites online to find out what format is best for final delivery.
