begining of the end for Uwe Boll..

And they still dont get it:

"Because of the Boll reputation, it is not easy to get audiences into the cinemas," said Mychael Berg, head of distribution at 20th Century Fox in Germany...

NO! It's because his movies s*ck. It has little to do with his reputation. The general public doesnt know who he is and those that do know who he is know this because he makes bad films.

That's like a car company that makes a car that blows up at exactly 1000miles and then says people dont buy the car because of it's bad reputation.

I accidentally walked in on this and watched the first few minutes. In that first few minutes, Ray Liotta makes out with Girl Who Grew 2 Feet In One Year And Became Incredibly Awkward Looking (or whatever that Helen Hunt lookalike's name is). And then we're introduced to Transporter guy, who I realize a lot of internet movie nerds like - but this guy can't carry anything over a B movie. Let's be honest here. The whole setup was bizarre to say the least. I never understood the German tax-haven thing. I'm no economist, but I'm pretty sure there isn't a place on earth that's kosher with you giving them a tenth of a return on their investment. But apparently that's all that Boll needed to do to get his next movie financed! This was inevitable.

I love his crappy films! He is hilarious and knows he doesn't make 'good' films but loves to make them.
