Because I Gained....I lost!

I shot two hours of footage and totally didn't realize that my gain was set to high until I came home and looked at the noisey footage.

There is some stuff on there that I am going to need to use. Anyone have any tips on Final Cut filters that may help to minimize my amateur blunder?

Thanks Steve, I was hoping to not make any additional purchases just yet. But if there's nothing in Final Cut Pro, it may turn out to be a more costly mistake than I thought.

Try the anti-alias filter set to around 1. It may work. Outside of that, maybe a slight Gaussian blur.

Withot seeing your footage and knowing the quality you're going for and the end product (VHS, DVD, computer), I can't really offer anymore FCP-internal advice.
