I have just borrowed a Jucedlink from a friend and own the BeachTek. The BeachTek pushes out a higher level. In Magic Lantern/550D I need to turn audio gain up all the way (32dB) for Jucedlink but for BeachTek I can leave it at 17dB. I have a broadcast sound recordists coming round Friday to do some full tests but having to use extra in camera gain is a bad sign.
Will post update here when I have one but wondered what peoples experience of use analog gain on 550D was?
