Screw mount add-on lenses work with a several cameras assuming they use all the same thread.
Bayonet mount add-on lenses only with with the camera they were designed to work with.
The best wide angle and telephone lenses (for the DVX) are bayonet mount.
Plus the bayonet mount is much stronger. I hate to think of the fragile lens threads trying to support monster glass like the Century 1.6x tele-extender.
