I am a new filmmaker (having switched over from still photography) at the beginning of 2019. I'm currently a one-man operation, and for most jobs, this is all I need. However, on larger inquiries where it would be helpful to have a second camera operator or a primary focus puller, I am sort of drawing a blank on how to meet people, network, and find qualified individuals to fill these roles.
I'm in the Bay Area, California, and would love to meet some professionals who are down to earth and know this trade well. I also do a significant amount of work in Chicago. My main clients are those in the classical music field—think Symphonies, Music Schools / Conservatories, and independent classical musicians with small scale projects.
