Batteryfire Logo Animation

I posted a thread earlier with some logos designs, but ended up just making a hand-drawn version of my current one.

I went ahead and moved on to creating a logo animation:

( CLICK IMAGE TO WATCH .MOV )

Just wanted to hear thoughts on length, colors, style, SFX, ambience etc... It seems to look okay on PC, but is a bit pinkish on a mac.

(this will be used as an opener for short films, demo reel, website, etc)

It looks amazing! I wish i knew how to make an intro like that on motion :D

And it does look a bit pinkish from over here, but it looks fine to me

Thanks! I used after effects... been meaning to learn Motion / Final Cut. As far as the pink... I guess that'll be settled once I get a calibrated monitor

I like it.

Very short, to the point, not over the top or "hey look what I can do in After Effects"ish.

There are a couple of very minor things I would change (not to content, rather application), but on the whole that is a very good design.

And the music is perfect.

I like it! Now, your thumbnail up there ^^ has got some punch, but the Quicktime is a bit muted colorwise, almost like it was old film. Is that the look you are going for?

Looks good! My only two criticisms would be the fire behind the lighter and the outro dissolve. The fire behind the logo looks a little too fake for my taste, but it's not that bad were it screams out at you either. Some more wispy fire would be cool, but stilled blurred out like you have it. With outro dissolve, the blinking off, TV static looks cool as well, but maybe it could burn up or melt away. That'd be more conceptually on target with the rest of the ident.
