Can some one give me a link to a good battery that will last at least 3-5 hours,

The battery that came with the camera fully charged lasts about 45 minutes and most of the time the camera is on standby, thats not much time. I need a battery that i wont have to go recharge every 30-45 minutes.
 
Just order the DVXUSER battery, 5 to 6 hours last. You can see a link on this site, you can't miss it.
 
yeah, but mind you.... you gonna wait about a month to recieve it. I order mine near the beginning of march, and I'm still waiting.

allo - i have same problem with this damned Li-ion battery that accompanied the camera - man, there's no juice in this thing!! where can i get a nice cheap long lasting battery? what model? shadow i couldn't find that link

Rick - check the link at the bottom of this page. The banner (at least right now) if for the $69 5000mah (5 hour) battery from DVXuser. If not do a search, there is a thread, and a stickey? on it I believe.
 
The longest-lasting battery for the DVX is the CGR-D54 from Panasonic, lasts about 5 hours under normal use. They sell for around $189. The DVXUser battery has 90% as much capacity for about 1/3 the price, so it looks like a screamingly good deal (just be prepared that it may take a while to get it, depending on Jarred's schedule at the time).
