Battery system - Help?

Hi,

Can anyone help me? I need a battery system AB style to power my remote viewfactor follow focus and Marchal display. I have no clue about those kind of external power packs. What should i get AB is to expensive, i was thinking Globalmediapro but i dont know what to get, what i will need for a full day of shooting (battery, charger, adapter etc) Could anyone explain to me what i need. Your help is much appreciated, as i have a assignment coming up in 2 weeks. Number one concern is price as i am low on cash, but i need something that works.

Your answer will be dictated by the type of shooting you do. If you have a bunch of gear, and aren't carrying it whilst you shoot, the larger Bescor starved electrolyte batteries are a goo value and will do the job.. If you are moving around, and weight is a big concern, lithium ion batteries are the only way to fly. As you have discovered, lithium ion (AB for example) is expensive.

Thank you for your reply. Could you recommend a Bescor battery that is the right power and has a Dtap connector? I am shooting with a shoulder mounts, but not run and gun.
 
Bescor has more sizes and combinations than you can keep track of. You will want to add up your power requirements, decide what duration you need power, and decide how much you care to pack. Go to their website, or BH and pick through the listings.
