Battery solutions for BT-LH1700W?

Someone posted a while back they hooked theirs up to a http://www.dolgin.net/VDoubler.htm and it worked for about 2 hours.

I'm thinking of getting one (BT-LH1700W) and was thinking of getting the V-Doubler, but now I think I may go with the Anton Batts, because they are more of an industry standard and sooner or later I'm going to have to make the purchase.

Wow you're in Africa? Cool

I do the same thing, mine is the PRB-12XLRNC. Has XLR for powering the monitor, and a cigarette lighter too. Weighs a ton, but drives the monitor for about 8 hours. I think it cost around $110 when I got it years ago.

This belt is considered a "12 Amp" belt. Since the monitor draws 1.5 amps, you can calculate runtime by dividing the amp-hours by the amps used. 12 amps / 1.5 draw = 8 hours runtime.
